How to get the Infinite Ammo Rocket Launcher in the Resident Evil 4 Remake

Unfortunately, you'll need to finish the RE4 Remake at least once first for a chance to unlock the Infinite Ammo Rocket Launcher.

Clearing through the RE4 Remake will be a lot easier with the Infinite Ammo Rocket Launcher.

Ammo is a limiting factor in any survival horror game, much more so in Resident Evil. The critically acclaimed Resident Evil 4 Remake is not an exception. But, as per the series’ norm, Capcom has added several ways for players to unlock the “Infinite Ammo” cheat in the RE4 Remake. However, while most are easier to get, the Infinite Ammo Rocket Launcher is only available to those who are willing to put in the effort.

Make no mistake, the “Cat Ears” accessory, which unlocks the Infinite Ammo cheat for all the weapons in the Resident Evil 4 Remake save for the RPG (or Rocket Launcher), isn’t easy to come by.

To make Leon look like the gorgeous cat boy he deserves to be, you’ll have to complete the single-player campaign of the RE4 Remake on Professional difficult with an S+ Rank.

The only way to achieve this is to complete the game in less than five and a half hours with no more than 15 saves. If you succeed, the game will unlock the “Cat Ears” accessory for purchase for 3,000 CP.

You could argue that it’s more difficult to get the “Cat Ears” accessory in the RE4 Remake. Because, with the Infinite Ammo Rocket Launcher, all you have to do is to pay for it once you’ve unlocked the New Game Plus mode.

Even with a discount, the Infinite Ammo Rocket Launcher is the most expensive piece of weapon you can buy in the RE4 Remake.

In New Game Plus, the Merchant will sell you the Infinite Ammo Rocket Launcher for two million Pesetas. You’ll be able to equip Leon with the Rocket Launcher Charm for a 20% discount for the Infinite Ammo Rocket Launcher to buy it for “only” 1.6 million Pesetas. Either way, getting your hands on this much Pesetas will force you to discover all Treasures in the RE4 Remake and even sell fully upgraded weapons just to afford them.

The good news is the ridiculously expensive weapon is worth all the hard work since you can use it to one-shot most if not all enemies in the RE4 Remake.

Just be careful not to kill Ashley by accident once you get it!

Speaking of the RE4 Remake, Capcom just released The Mercenaries Mode for the game for free. The other post-launch content confirmed for the RE4 Remake is the VR mode for the PSVR 2.
