The Game Awards 2022 held several surprises and one of them was the second teaser trailer for the upcoming paid Cyberpunk 2077 DLC – Phantom Liberty. Phantom Liberty has been planned and teased for quite some time, with the first reveal being in September of 2022.
Luckily, the game has received a number of updates over the last few months that have fixed some major bugs and glitches. Rest assured, at least you will be jumping into a new story-driven DLC with little to no bugs.

Phantom Liberty will see the return of V alongside Keanu Reeves, reprising his role as Johnny Silverhand. The DLC will also feature a brand new character named Solomon Reed, an FIA agent for the New United States of America (NUSA), played by Idris Elba.
As per the new trailer, we also see a new location called ‘Dogtown,’ which means players are in store for new districts of Night City. While the DLC is fully confirmed, we’re still unsure of the release date, except that it has a tentative 2023 release window.
We also don’t know the confirmed price of the Phantom Liberty DLC as of yet. We will know more about the price and date in 2023.
Cyberpunk 2077 had a rocky start, to say the least, but managed to sell over 20 million copies, thanks, in part, to the hit Netflix anime adaptation of the show. The game has captured everyone’s attention through numerous patches and bug fixes and reignited their interest in the game.
