How to catch a Tiger Trout in Stardew Valley

Like any other fish, Tiger Trout also has a set of environmental and time-sensitive requirements that must be met before you can catch it.

Tiger Trout is one of the rarer fishes that you can catch in Stardew Valley. But, being at the right place at the right time can increase your chances of bagging one. Part of the reason why it's such a rare fish is that you cannot breed it. Here's how you can find and catch the Tiger Trout in Stardew Valley.

The Tiger Trout can be caught in Rivers, specifically in Pelican Town or near Cindersap Forest. The fish can only be caught in either the Fall or Winter seasons. While the weather conditions determine certain types of fish, you will be relieved to know that there is no weather requirement, and the fish can be caught in any weather conditions.

You can catch the Tiger Trout between 6 A.M. and 7 P.M. at one of the previously mentioned locations. The difficulty level of this fish is 60.

There are other ways of obtaining the Tiger Trout if you miss half a year (Fall and Winter). There is a rare chance for Krobus to sell you the Tiger Trout on Wednesdays, regardless of what season you're in. Krobus sells it for 200g.

In addition to gifting the fish to Willy, he might even request 1-4 Tiger Trouts on random occasions during Fall or Winter. This will not be a direct request, but rather in the form of a pinned paper on the community board (The "Help Wanted" board) outside Pierre's General Store.
