Disney just dropped a new trailer for The Book of Boba Fett. This time around, audiences are treated to footage revealing just how Boba Fett escaped and healed from the Sarlacc following the events of 1983's Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi.
Disney is hyping Book of Boba Fett ahead of launch
After Boba Fett's formal return in Season 2 of The Mandalorian, audiences have wondered how the famous bounty hunter is still alive. The events of Return of the Jedi suggested that his encounter with the Sarlacc meant certain death for Boba Fett. However, since the Book of Boba Fett (and by extension, The Mandalorian and other spin-offs) is set in the years following the original trilogy, longtime fans are curious to find out exactly why Boba Fett is still alive and how he survived the encounter.
Unfortunately, the latest Book of Boba Fett trailer didn't exactly reveal how he healed, it does offer a glimpse of how he survived.
