Potterheads have been wishing to get ahold of the magical time-traveling device, Time-Turner, for the better part of the past three years and the latest trailer for Hogwarts Legacy will only make them want one even more.
The open-world action RPG was originally slated for a late 2022 release before Warner Bros. Discovery pushed back its release date to February.
To give Potterheads something to chew on in the meantime, Hogwarts Legacy just got a 45-minute gameplay showcase for fans who have been eagerly waiting for the game to launch. Avalanche Community Manager, Chandler Wood, and guest host, James Whitehead, of XpectoGo, hosted the video showcase. Game Director Alan Tew and Senior Environment Artist Boston Madsen also joined in on the fun and shared details about the game.
The Hogwarts Legacy showcase reveals details about the character creator, combat, UI, and the game environment. Some key details about the gameplay were teased in the footage shown.
The video starts off with Hogwarts Legacy's much-hyped character creator that lets players customize everything about their in-game character from the face shapes all the way down to their voices. The avatar can also have a number of 1800s-themed accessories.
