Halo Infinite was supposed to be the big exclusive for the Xbox Series X when it launched or, at least, soon after. However, 343 Industries and Microsoft have provided very few updates regarding the upcoming Halo title in recent months, giving players little to no official information to go on about what to expect from Halo Infinite and, more importantly, when to expect it.
Whether or not this is intentional is not something we can say at this point. However, a recent leak seems to suggest that Halo Infinite is releasing sooner rather than later.
Will Halo Infinite Release in 2021?
Actor Verlon Roberts recently joined the Fadam and Friends podcast to discuss a lot of things, including his work on Halo Infinite.
During the said podcast, Roberts talked a lot of things about the highly anticipated AAA title. He mentioned the game's disappointing delay and that it was pushed back to November 2021.
This is arguably the first time that most people have heard about a possible release date for Halo Infinite. Previously, all audiences had to go on was a Fall 2021 release window.
Now, before you go doubting Roberts' credibility, it's important to know that he knows a lot about Halo Infinite because he plays a significant role in it. He confirmed in the podcast that he's done motion capture work and voice acting for Spartan Griffin. This all but confirms the appearance of the character from the Shadows of Reach Halo novel.
