The official release date for Rockstar Games' Grand Theft Auto VI has been revealed, alongside a gameplay trailer. Both have been making rounds on the internet over the past few years, presumably leaked online by someone who got their hands on an early copy of the trailer ahead of its official reveal.
We're expecting the legal team over at Rockstar and Take-Two Interactive to work quickly to have the trailer scrubbed off the face of the internet, but if you don't want the glorious glimpse at the next GTA game to be spoiled for you, we recommend going dark and staying away from the internet for the rest of the day.
As expected, the minute-and-a-half long trailer for GTA VI confirms plenty of things the internet has speculated about, including its setting, the dual protagonists, and when it's coming out.
The leaked trailer, which features a huge watermark right in the middle, reveals the name of one of the protagonists as Lucia, confirming earlier rumors. Surprisingly enough, the "rumored" name of the other playable character, Jason, isn't mentioned at all.
