Leave it up to the internet to find out the identity behind one of the principal voice actors in Grand Theft Auto 6.
While fans haven’t stumbled on an errant IMDb page this time around, unlike what happened with Ned Luke years ago with GTA V, cybersleuths still managed to piece together a convincing argument that the voice actress behind Lucia is a relatively little-known actress based in New York, Manni L. Perez.
Perez previously has appeared in several other popular TV shows in the past, but mostly in minor roles, including Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Marvel’s Jessica Jones, and The Blacklist. She also has ties to Rockstar after voicing a random NPC in GTA 5.

The entire speculative train took off after someone posted on Reddit, complete with comparisons, that Perez is playing Lucia. They explain that the similarity between the side profiles of Lucia and Perez are too uncanny to be a coincidence.
To no one’s surprise, the internet started digging even further, with other posts pointing to interviews Perez did in 2021 where she talked about doing something “big” but she can’t talk more about it because of a Non-disclosure Agreement.
It’s not surprising that Rockstar would ask voice actors to sign an NDA and keep any details about GTA 6 under lock and key until further notice. In fact, some are using this as proof that Perez is indeed Lucia. They claim Perez’s demeanor had changed when the interviewer brought up GTA. But, of course, that’s stretching things a bit. The only thing that’s clear here is that Perez is working on a big project that she isn’t allowed to talk about.
But, wait – there’s more!
Aside from Perez, another name that has come up as the internet seeks answers to their questions is Ana Esposito.
In a separate Reddit post, a user points out that Esposito’s voice has a “similar cadence” to Lucia and both of them have a “similar facial structure, particularly their eyebrows and lip shape.” And, while Perez has the aforementioned interview going for him, what lends weight to the possibility that Esposito is voicing Lucia is that all of her social media accounts are private. Furthermore, Esposito hasn’t done any kind of work for years, which would only happen if she’s working on something big – her Backstage page is private outside of the clips.
The casting of Manni L. Perez or Ana Esposito as Lucia would put an end to the speculation. Unfortunately, we likely won’t find out anything about this until we’re closer to GTA 6’s release date, which isn’t until 2025.
For now, we might as well sit back, relax, and let the internet mongers carry on with whatever they’re doing.
Speaking of GTA, Rockstar Games might be preparing for GTA 5’s annual departure from Game Pass after bringing the second-best-selling video game ever back to the popular subscription service in July.
