The Xbox Series S is the frugal fan's favorite video game console. It's a small and sleek piece of gaming hardware that's incredibly economical at just $300. But, while it's already a steal at its retail price, Microsoft found a way to make it cheaper.
According to Microsoft, interested gamers can buy the Xbox Series X's more affordable sibling at a discounted price of $250 throughout the holiday season.
In addition to this, new Game Pass members will only need to pay $1 for their first month. This lets players have fun and enjoy next-gen games at 120 frames per second and insanely fast loading times for a low, low price of $251, which is barely half the retail price of the Xbox Series X.
It's worth pointing out that partner retailers are running their own promotions on top of the Microsoft-initiated price cut.
If you buy an Xbox Series S from Target, the popular retailer will throw in a $50 gift card and this will make the Series S cheaper than the base Nintendo Switch.
