Genshin Impact introduced eight new treasures that players can obtain by finding their treasure maps in Fontaine 4.2. Some treasures require eliminating a mini-boss, while others are puzzle-oriented.
The treasure or mini-bosses won’t spawn until players pick up the treasure map. Finding all eight treasures also rewards players with a secret achievement.
In this guide, we show you the locations of all the treasure maps and the respective treasure locations. All the treasure maps are located around the Tower of Ipsissimus underwater in the Morte Region. This guide will help you get the Rainbow Rose’s Ideals treasure.
Each treasure map also has a text hint highlighted in blue that helps obtain the actual treasure.
Treasure 1 – Liam’s Ballad
Treasure Map 1
The treasure map is located an underwater partial ruin north of Tower of Ipsissimus southwest of the Statue of the Seven.
The treasure map is inside the big conch.
Hit the conch using your normal attack, and it will open up, revealing the treasure map.
You can remove the invisible barrier by hitting the blue crystal mechanism.
Treasure Location 1
The location of the first treasure is on a small island between Fort Charybdis Ruins and Lumidouce Harbor.
You must defeat Davy Smith treasure hoarder mini-boss.
Once you defeat the mini-boss, an exquisite chest will spawn. You will get your standard loot along with 5 primogems.
Treasure 2 – Athos’s Confession

This treasure map is inside the ruins north of the Tower of Ipsissimus.
Enter the ruins and immediately turn left. You will find the conch there.
Treasure Location 2
The treasure is located on a mini island northeast of Lumidouce Harbor.
You will find a dig site at the marked location.
Treasure 3 – Rouge’s Writings

The third treasure map is located underwater east of the Tower of Ipsissimus, directly in front of the teleport waypoint.
You will find a large conch holding the treasure map.

The third treasure is an interesting one.
When you get to the location, you will find a cyprus tree with no leaves but a single apple.
Hit the tree three times for it to spawn a precious chest.
Treasure 4 – Autumn’s Regrets

This treasure map is located directly southeast of the Tower of Ipsissimus.
You will find the conch on top of a ruin entrance. You can enter the building by solving the surrounding puzzle to find one of the legends of Fontaine.

This treasure is also located east of the Weeping Willow of the Lake in a small underground base accessed via a small pond.

The pond here is originally polluted with some green stuff, and you must clear it to dive underwater and access the teleporter. Feel free to check out our foggy forest branch locations guide to see the solution to the complete puzzle. It is branch number three.
You will enter an underground base.
Now, you need to pull four levers in a certain order as hinted by the book on the table.
First, pull the lever by the chair or the table.
Then, pull the lever in the water.
After that, pull the lever by the campfire.
And finally, pull the lever in the corner of the wall.
Once you’ve pulled all four in the stated order, a secret room on the right side of the table will open.
Treasure 5 – Barrow’s Expectations

This treasure map is located underwater southwest of the Tower of Ipsissimus.
Open the conch and pick up your treasure map.

The treasure is located near the Fountain of Lucine. First, go to the teleport waypoint at the base of a large mountain east of the Fountain of Lucine.
Climb the top of the mountain, and you will find a puzzle starter indicator.
When you do, the game automatically shows you a claw-shaped rock formation in the distance.
You need to glide to the claw-shaped rock formation, and when you get closer, an exquisite chest will spawn.
Treasure 6 – Parker’s Hope

The treasure map is located southeast of the East Slopes of Mont Automnequi.
You can find it near the teleport waypoint just by the shore underwater.

The treasure is located on a large island directly east of the Weeping Willow of the Lake.
First, you need to climb the steep mountain on the island’s western edge.
You will find another puzzle starting indicator at the top.
It will zoom in on the fish-like formation on the ground.
You do not have to land on it directly.
Treasure 7 – Rocky Avildsen’s Disappearance

The treasure map is located in the large ruins southeast of the Tower of Ipsissimus.
Open the conch by attacking it and get your treasure map.

The treasure is obtained by defeating a mini-boss located on a small island southeast of Fort Charybdis Ruins.
You will find a treasure hoarder called Davy Smith Jr. at the site.
Take him out and an exquisite chest will spawn.
Treasure 8 – Freeman’s Announcement

The final treasure map is located very close to the Davy Smith Jr. treasure hoarder.
You will find another large conch.

The final treasure can be obtained by completing a small puzzle at a small base called “The Rusty Rudder,” located on the shores of the Foggy Forest Path.
According to the treasure map description, you can solve this puzzle by extinguishing all the torches not on land. You can only light up the torch that is on land.
The first torch is on a metallic platform east of the base with one NPC standing by it.
The second torch is lit on another metallic platform northwest of the base. it has a couple of wooden stools and some boxes beside it.
The third torch is dock-side.
The final torch which is on land is on the southern side of the “Rusty Rudder.”
Use a pyro character to light up the torch and complete this puzzle. An exquisite chest will spawn.
