Gal Gadot has kept herself busy ever since leaving the Fast and the Furious family. She joined the DCEU as Wonder Woman and is one-third of the Red Notice trio that recently just set a new record for Netflix. Although Gadot is already expected to have a full slate ahead with unannounced-but-unexpected Wonder Woman threequels and back-to-back Red Notice sequels, the former Miss Israel could kickstart yet another cinematic universe with Heart of Stone.
Heart of Stone is a Mission: Impossible-esque spy action thriller that Netflix ultimately won the rights to following a competitive bidding war against other studios. While the Netflix spy movie doesn't have a release date yet, it appears that filming has already started.
The Wonder Woman star went on Twitter to upload a photo of herself behind the scenes while on the set of Heart of Stone. The actress added that she will take on the role of Rachel Stone in the Tom Harper film with Greg Rucka and Allison Schroeder writing the script. In addition to starring in Heart of Stone, Gadot is also one of the film's producers. Unfortunately, Gadot stopped short of revealing details about Heart of Stone. But, we can safely assume that it will be a female-led version of popular spy franchises such as Mission: Impossible.
