It's time. With only a month to go before FromSoftware rolls out its first Armored Core entry in years, the studio is finally starting to ramp up the marketing machine. As part of its effort, the studio, in association with Bandai Namco, is all set to broadcast an in-depth gameplay briefing for the much-anticipated project.
This upcoming event is bound to usher us into a new era of mech-based combat games, showcasing the grandeur and the elaborate dynamics of Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon.
Scheduled for a live broadcast on July 25 at 7:00 PDT / 10:00 AM EDT / 3:00 PM BST, the gameplay briefing is going to be 12 minutes long and will be available to watch on both YouTube and Twitch with subtitles in various languages available as well.
You'd think that Armored Core 6 isn't a big-budget project given the marketing it's getting from FromSoftware or Bandai Namco, or the lack thereof. But, this has worked for FromSoftware before. The strategic silence emulates the strategy that led to the resounding success of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.
By keeping much of Armored Core 6 under wraps, FromSoftware is sparking curiosity and eagerness among fans. The fact that we are inching closer to the game's launch, slated for August 25, merely intensifies the anticipation.
