Turn 10 Studios showed up during the Xbox Developer Direct event to showcase its eighth and latest installment in the Forza series. Forza Motorsport is the upcoming open-world simcade racer that was showcased as a cinematic trailer during the event.

The trailer focused mostly on the new technological advancements and the visual enhancements made to the game. The showcase also captivated the audience throughout as the developers claimed Forza Motorsport will feature over 500 cars (100 of which are new to the Forza franchise) with over 800 unique upgrades. The game will also feature up to 20 track environments with dynamic weather effects.

Despite all the talk, fans are worried due to the lack of gameplay and release date during the showcase. Forza Motorsport was the only game without a release date, leaving players concerned about the state of the game.

The game was initially slated to come out later this year, but it looks like Turn 10 Studios has revised its initial release window to a much later date, according to a reliable industry insider, Jeff Grubb.
