The part-man, part-machine supercop is here to save the day, with a diminutive ED-209 to boot.

Because there isn't a Robocop movie or TV show coming soon (or, at least, none that we know of), the pop culture icon that's best known for starring in an action flick that served as an hour-long critique of greedy corporations is a weird addition to Fortnite.

If anything, Fortnite stands for everything that Robocop was criticizing, down to its monetization of every pop culture phenomenon since its inception. Not to mention, Robocop isn't exactly something that Fortnite's audience would resonate with: the Robocop reboot came in 2014 and the original premiered in 1987.

If nothing else, Robocop director, Paul Verhoeven, is probably out there laughing his arse off at how Fortnite is using Robocop in a way that's against everything it stood for.
