Netflix has released the trailer for its eagerly anticipated series, Obliterated.
With each new release, Netflix aims to capture the essence of diverse narratives and Obliterated is no exception. This newest series resonates with energy, intrigue, and promises to be a roller coaster of emotions and suspense.
The creators of the immensely popular Cobra Kai series, a sequel/spin-off to the Karate Kid movies, namely Jon Hurwitz, Hayden Schlossberg, and Josh Heald, are the brilliant minds behind Obliterated. Their earlier success adds weight to the expectations of this new series. Spearheading the series are Nick Zano and SHelley Hennig, celebrated for their roles in DC's Legends of Tomorrow and Teen Wolf, respectively. The supporting cast features an impressive ensemble: C. Thomas Howell, Kimi Rutledge, Paola Lazaro, Terrence Terrell, Alyson Gorske, and Eugene Kim. The announced structure includes eight episodes, each approximately 60 minutes in duration, and the full series will be available to the audience on November 30.
The narrative is uniquely intriguing. Set in the ever-lively city of Las Vegas, the story follows an elite bomb squad. This team, after successfully defusing what they believed was a menacing threat, immediately celebrate their success. But, it didn't take long for things to take start taking a turn for the worse. The subsequent day reveals a twist: the bomb they neutralized was a decoy. The genuine threat, a nuclear device, is still active and poses a looming danger to the city.
