Black Panther is one of the most significant films in Hollywood history. It wasn't just a great movie that made $1.3 billion against a $200 million budget. It was one of the first films in history to have a predominantly black cast.

However, for all its success, it wasn't without its fair share of challenges. For one, the film's lead actor, Chadwick Boseman, who portrayed King T'Challa and his superhero alter ego, the Black Panther, passed away in August 2020 due to cancer.

With the MCU now moving on to its fourth phase, the sequel to the 2018 movie will not only need to deal with the sky-high expectations resulting from the success of the original film, but it will have to navigate through the death of its main character.

How the film will accomplish this monumental feat is not known at the moment. What is known is that the project began filming earlier this month with a set video giving audiences a glimpse of the work in progress.
