Bugs and glitches are part of any game, Destiny 2 included, and for the most part, Bungie has done an excellent job of isolating a handful of the problems in its game, so they wouldn’t affect the shooter’s PvP aspect, also known as the Crucible.
But, it looks like this is no longer the case.
As per Destiny 2 YouTuber, Hynra, there’s a bug where using Khepri’s Sting Exotic Arms with the Smoke Bomb ability of the Void Hunters lets players kill others with one shot.
The video emphasizes this by showing a kill shot using the same setup on a player standing using a Glaive’s shield while inside a Ward of Dawn. The video further explains that this “malfunction” has something to do with the Smoke Bomb.
Unless Bungie finds a workaround for this issue, this Exotic could end up getting disabled in Destiny 2.
Bungie released the Lightfall expansion for Destiny 2 in late February. After much hype, it didn’t long for players to express their disappointment at the lackluster narrative and game-breaking in-game bugs.
Bungie is currently working on several projects for Sony after its acquisition last year. The studio is going after cheatmakers in hopes of scaring them off Destiny 2.
