Elden Ring will get a DLC. Every FromSoftware game has gotten DLC and Elden Ring is the studio's biggest project since Dark Souls 3. Even if it wasn't in the initial plans, the status of Elden Ring as FromSoftware's best-selling game (and the best-selling game of 2022, so far) all but guarantees post-launch content. So, you can only imagine how ecstatic gamers were to find out that the rumored Elden Ring DLC is coming in Q3 FY23.
The latest Elden Ring news comes by way of a still-unconfirmed Bandai Namco ransomware attack. Hours after news broke that someone had gotten their hands on Bandai Namco's files, the internet is now full of potential leaks about the publisher's upcoming games. The one that stands out is the slide, "Major Titles Planned for FY2023 Release", which runs from April 2022 to March 2023.
Based on the image, Elden Ring will receive its first DLC, "Barbarians of the Badlands", at some point between October and December.
Naturally, Elden Ring fans jumped on the bandwagon, but some aren't buying it because of the following reasons: The Tekken logo from the Q3 FY2023 list is from a fan-made video Digimon Survive is the next Digimon game and the one after it will be set in the Digital World - not a Cybersleuth sequel The Dragon Ball Fighter Z Super logo looks like a merged logo of Dragon Ball FighterZ and Dragon Ball Super Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is still getting new content packs and updates FromSoftware deserves all the time it needs to come up with an epic Elden Ring DLC.
