Jujutsu Kaisen, the latest shonen sensation, is making a thrilling entrance into the renowned free-to-play battle royale, Fortnite.

After an earlier leak, Epic Games has finally confirmed that everybody's favorite sorcerers are ready to drop into the Fortnite fray.

The introduction of these mystical warriors was announced by Epic Games in a teaser trailer that captured the attention of millions, shared on Fortnite's official X (formerly Twitter) account. The trailer featured a whimsical scene of Fortnite's Banana Man and Fishsticks engaged in a shadow puppet theater, performing their amateurish renditions of animals on a brick wall. But as the creatures depicted gradually transitioned to bear eerie resemblance to the shikigami of Megumi Fushiguro, the trailer took a turn towards the darker side of the spectrum.

Suddenly, a torrent of black, shadowy energy rippled across the screen, the wall crumbling as the cast of Jujutsu Kaisen - Yuji, Megumi, Gojo, and Nobara - burst forth, brandishing the sorcerous Ten Shadows Technique, which is fitting indeed for the introduction of these formidable characters into Fortnite's expansive universe.

The collaboration between Fortnite and Jujutsu Kaisen follows a string of similar crossovers, including those with Naruto, Dragon Ball Z, My Hero Academia, and Attack on Titan. From Naruto's main quartet to the additional introduction of side characters like Gaara and Itachi, Epic Games has steadily been inviting anime's most celebrated icons to its metaverse.
