It's been more than a year since the COVID-19 pandemic ravaged the entire world. As it continues to rage on, everyone has had no choice but to adjust. Awarding bodies have either canceled, postponed, or shifted ceremonies to online-only events. Case in point, the 72nd Primetime Emmy Awards.

However, for 2021, the 73rd Primetime Emmy Awards will be hosted in-person, but outdoors.

In addition to the outdoor venue, this year's Primetime and Creative Arts Emmy Awards will require its guests to provide proof that they've received full vaccination from COVID-19 and a negative COVID-19 test within two days before the start of the event.

The awards show, which will be split into four ceremonies for 2020, will limit the number of attendees to only nominees and a single guest per person.
