Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic was placed on hold indefinitely back in July, but it now seems to be back on track according to a new report.
In its most recent interim report, video game publisher, Embracer Group, announced that one of its AAA projects had switched studios. Many believe that the game in question is the company's remake of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (KOTOR).
According to Embracer, "One of the Group's AAA projects has transitioned to another studio within the Group. This was done to ensure the quality bar is where we need it to be for the title."
As reported last month, Aspyr Media, the company developing the game, had put Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic on indefinite hold. The reason for doing so was that the demo didn't meet expectations, despite the time and money it had consumed.
