Electronic Arts is one of the biggest game companies in the world with titles like Battlefield, FIFA, Medal of Honor, and NBA Live, under its belt. Recently, the company announced that one of its studios, Motive Studios, will collaborate with Marvel Games to develop an Iron Man title. Motive Studios is behind some of EA's highly popular games, including the 2017 title Star Wars Battlefront II, the 2020 title Star Wars: Squadrons, and the forthcoming Dead Space remake scheduled for release on January 27.

However, the studio might be developing the game on Unreal Engine instead of EA's Frostbite engine which has been plagued with controversy since its development, according to a job listing on its website.

Motive's job listing seeks to recruit a Senior Level Designer to work on the Iron Man title. Among other things, the listing requests that applicants should have over five years of experience with video game level design, familiarity with developing single player games, and "familiarity with advanced game engine like Unreal."

While the listing doesn't explicitly indicate that the studio will develop Iron Man with Unreal Engine, it requiring Unreal Engine experience seems to suggest development will take place on the game engine.
