There's nothing quite like an "older" Grand Theft Auto 6 leak being proven true to spice up everyone's mornings.
As if sensing that everyone needed a pick-me-up to get them through this week's hump day, an insider decided to unearth a rare leak that actually turned out to be true and gave everyone another reason to start talking about GTA 6 again.
@that1detectiv3 went on Twitter to share that a post made back in December ahead of the official GTA 6 trailer release that perfectly described its contents, down to the lady holding two hammers, had already revealed its release date. But, word of warning: just because the leaker got the GTA 6 trailer right, this doesn't mean that their information about the game's release date is correct.
Release dates for games, especially those of GTA 6's magnitude, are notoriously fluid. Delays can occur as developers strive to polish intricate systems and vast game worlds. Rockstar, known for its commitment to quality, may aim for a February 2025 release, but fans have to understand that this date is a placeholder at this point. The complexity of creating a game with GTA 6's scope means late-stage issues are inevitable, complicating the development timeline.
