EA Sports FC to reportedly feature female players in Ultimate Team

EA intensified its focus on including women's football in recent FIFA games and it looks like EA Sports FC will take things a step further.

FIFA 23 was the most inclusive soccer sim yet and EA Sports FC is going to continue the ongoing trend.

The best-selling sporting video game ever is about to become a lot more inclusive.

After confirming that more info on EA Sports FC is coming in July, several trusted insiders have come forward to offer new details about what’s coming to the newly-branded soccer sim.

Fut Sheriff, in particular, claims that female players are coming to the Ultimate Team mode for the first time in the franchise history.

According to the leak, EA Sports FC will allow female and male players to compete with and against each other, giving fans a chance to build their dream lineups regardless of gender.

We’re still curious to find out how well EA Sports FC will sell given the name change.

Before the announcement, fans expressed their concern that EA Sports FC would lose licenses following EA’s split with FIFA. But, as per the new video, this isn’t the case. It looks like EA’s ties with the Premier League, Women’s Super League, and La Liga, among others, are still intact.

More importantly, this news of female exclusivity is very welcome, especially after EA added the NWSL and UEFA Women’s Champions League to FIFA 23 as free DLC just last month and just one installment after Sam Kerr graced the covers of FIFA 23 alongside Kylian Mbappé.
