Donald Glover might still have a future as Lando Calrissian in the Star Wars cinematic universe.

Glover revealed his sentiment about playing the fan-favorite character again in a recent GQ interview where he said that he'd "love to play Lando again," hinting that it has survived the recent exodus of in-development Star Wars films over at Disney.

Unfortunately, Glover's words are just as vague as anyone else's, and while he might be interested in doing it for now, who knows what the future might hold?

Perhaps one of the reasons why all parties involved are hesitant to revisit the Skywalker era is its association with the 2018 film, Solo: A Star Wars Story. The film, which reportedly cost at least $300 million to make without factoring in marketing costs, barely made back its production budget with a $393 million box office take.

The truth is anyone's guess at this point, but at least we have a "confirmation" that Disney didn't cancel everything.
