According to Daniel Richtman, a reliable Hollywood scooper, Disney+ has renewed Ms. Marvel for a second season. This report comes three months after the show's first season premiered on the streaming service.

Ms. Marvel stars Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan, a 16-year-old Pakistani-American student from Jersey City. Khan is an artist and gamer who loves superheroes and writes fan fiction about them. However, everything changes when she gains superhuman abilities from a magical and ancient bangle that is tied to her family's past. The show chronicles Kamala's journey as she comes to terms with her newfound powers and becomes a hero for her city.

Earlier in the year, one of Ms. Marvel's writers, Sana Amanat, revealed the studio intended the show to be a limited series that will set the stage for the character to feature in other ways in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Nevertheless, she expressed the hope it will be renewed for a second season. Besides, given the generally favorable review the first season received from critics and audiences; it will not be a surprise if Disney decides to produce a second season.
