Elegance and espionage are gearing up for a dazzling return as preparations for Kingsman 3 begin. Anticipation for the sequel has been high despite the poor reception for 2017's Kingsman: The Golden Circle, so will the conclusion to Harry and Eggsy's story live up to expectations?
In a recent special panel interview at New York Comic Con, director Matthew Vaughn shared updates about the projects he's working on. The director has shared his plans for filming the upcoming movie, which concludes the story of Taron Egerton's Gary "Eggsy" Unwin aka Galahad. Vaughn also shared updates for the Kick-Ass reboot project he is working on.
"Next year we're rebooting Kick-Ass and we're making Kingsman 3," Vaugh shared. "Kick-Ass sort of changed people's perception of what a superhero film is at that time. So we're doing it again. So it's none of the characters from the other Kick-Ass. We'd like to bring them back after the reboot, but this reboot is just going off on a tangent that I really can't talk about. But it's fun."
Fans have been waiting on Kingman 3 as the ending of The Golden Circle left audiences hanging. Many viewers are excited to see how the story of Eggsy ends in the third film. Vaughn previously said that Kingsman 3 will serve as "the conclusion of the Harry Hart-Eggsy relationship."
