With Diablo 3 releasing in 2012, it's been nearly a decade since a proper installment in the franchise was released. However, fans don't have to wait too long for a proper sequel to release. At the very least, the next main Diablo game, Diablo 4, should arrive sooner rather than later.

The game was first teased at BlizzCon 2019 and will put Mephisto's daughter, Lilith, in the spotlight as the main big baddie, after being summoned by cultists via blood magic.

The game will reportedly pick up immediately following the events of Diablo III: Reaper of Souls.
