For all its memes and mixed reviews, Square Enix continues to support Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origins.

At a time when Square Enix is dropping support for its games than launching new content, the Japanese video game developer has released a new trailer for the game's incoming DLC, Wanderer of the Rift.

The trailer for the expansion contains a glimpse of the expansion's plot and new gameplay features, which includes the Rift Labyrinth. The post-launch content will take place following the end of the main story of Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin and the Trials of the Dragon King DLC.

After Bahamut got his turn in July, the spotlight will now turn to Gilgamesh, a being who is technically a wandering sword collector that can travel through time and dimensions and holds the record for the most appearances of a singular character in Final Fantasy media.
