Oops - a social media intern is getting fired! A Tweet including a trailer for Destroy All Humans! 2 Reprobed, a remake of the 2006 alien action-adventure game popped up only to be hastily scrubbed, indicating that the reveal wasn't yet ready for prime time. However, this being the internet, you can't really ever delete anything - and the video was rehosted.
Developed by Black Forest Games and to be published by THQ Nordic, Reprobed seems to be a graphical remaster which retains just about everything else about the original Destroy All Humans! 2, so we're not looking at a full-on remake that risks losing the charm of the source material.
It isn't clear when the game will launch - the trailer does not include a release date - or what platforms it will be released on, however the end of the video sports a lot of PlayStation branding, so it is definitely going to appear on Sony's console. The Destroy All Humans! 2 remaster was also spoiled by the infamous Nvidia data leak that's been a bit of a hot topic lately, so a PC version is possible despite the original only being a console title.
