At this point, Cyberpunk 2077 is synonymous with failed video game releases. Even though CD Projekt RED's newest IP still has time to turn things around, it's just so much safer to assume that the game will never live up to its initial promise. But, even if this is true, CDPR seems intent on trying to make things right anyway, and it looks like its efforts over the past six months are starting to pay off.

Microsoft Is Going To Stop Offering Cyberpunk 2077 Refunds

Earlier this week, Sony confirmed that Cyberpunk 2077 is finally back up on the PlayStation Store. Just a few days later, it seems like Microsoft is of the same notion as well. When Will Microsoft Stop Offering Cyberpunk 2077 Refunds? Don't expect to get any more Cyberpunk 2077 refunds from Microsoft after July 6.

Normally, digital purchases are considered final. In Microsoft's case, their policy states that refunds are only possible depending on the circumstance. One such instance was Cyberpunk 2077, with Microsoft offering Cyberpunk 2077 refunds for any copy bought from the Microsoft Store since the game was released in December 2020.

More than half a year later, Microsoft plans on no longer offering full refunds for Cyberpunk 2077.

If you head on over the Digital Game Purchase Refund Terms page on the Xbox website, you can see Microsoft specifically singling out Cyberpunk 2077. In particular, Microsoft states that it will be returning to its "standard digital game refund policy for Cyberpunk 2077 on July 6, for both new and existing purchases."
