With only weeks left before WWE 2K24 comes out, 2K is now slowly unveiling more of the game’s post-launch details. After revealing the initial lineup of wrestlers that will be available come March 8 (or March 5 if you pre-ordered the game), 2K has confirmed the DLC Superstars for the game.
Right in the middle of the February 26 episode of Monday Night RAW, WWE flashes a commercial showcasing WWE 2K24‘s upcoming season pass, headlined by none other than CM Punk and rapper, Post Malone.
The announcement comes just after CM Punk “called out” 2K Sports on Instagram for not including him in WWE 2K24 after much fan protest.

CM Punk recently returned to the WWE after walking out on his former home following a very public spat with the management. Unfortunately, his much-hyped run was cut short after he was injured by Drew McIntyre at this year’s Royal Rumble.
Now sidelined with a torn tricep, McIntyre has spent the past weeks talking trash and taking jabs at a handful of names on the Monday Night RAW roster, including CM Punk.
In the same Monday Night RAW episode that CM Punk’s inclusion as a DLC character in WWE 2K24 was announced, the Scottish Warrior mocked CM Punk, mimicking the way he sat in the middle of the ring and egging the crowd on about how he isn’t CM Punk who got hurt and won’t have a chance to wrestle at this year’s Showcase of the Immortals in April.
While it’s clear this is a work, it’s unclear if this petty rivalry between DM Punk and CM Punk will come to a head in Philadelphia given the latter’s injury.
At the moment, the WWE is angling towards Drew McIntyre challenging Seth Rollins for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 40 after he walked out of the Elimination Chamber this year as the last man standing. However, Rollins appears to be recruiting McIntyre to join him in taking down The Bloodline before that happens, reminding him of how both Jey and Jimmy Uso cost him a shot at winning a title in front of a live crowd at Clash at the Castle in September 2022.
The next Premium Live Event will be WrestleMania 40 on April 6-7.
