Capcom finally unveiled the first gameplay trailer for Dragon's Dogma 2 at the May 24 PlayStation Showcase.
The highly anticipated action role-playing title was initially announced last year by the game's director Hideaki Itsuno at the live stream event to commemorate the first game's 10th anniversary.
While Itsuno didn't reveal much detail during the stream, he did state that the game will be developed on its proprietary RE Engine.
The trailer opens with a bird's eye view of the world in which the game takes place. It then goes on to tease the different characters and its monsters, including a Medusa-like figure and the infamous dragon.
As expected, Dragon's Dogma 2 promises an immersive combat experience as well as a robust magic system.
The trailer is accompanied by a description, which reads, "Dragon's Dogma is a single player, narrative driven action-RPG that challenges players to choose their own experience – from the appearance of their Arisen, their vocation, their party, how to approach different situations and more. On your journey, you'll be joined by Pawns, mysterious otherworldly beings, in an adventure so unique you will feel as if accompanied by other players while on your own adventure."
