The Star Wars Universe is one of the biggest franchises on the planet, spawning several films, comics, novels, and video games. If we believe Cameron Monaghan, the franchise is about to get even bigger.

Monaghan plays the protagonist Cal Kestis in the Star Wars video game series titled Star Wars Jedi. That series recently saw the release of the second installment but Monaghan has now revealed that a third installment is potentially on the way.

Monaghan revealed this detail during a recent appearance on a panel at the Ocala Comic-Con in Florida earlier this month.

He said, "We're working on the third [game] and we're in the process of doing it right now... So, that's a big undertaking and there's been some conversations so far. But hopefully, when all things are said and done, we'll be able to go in and make something really cool for you guys again."

Earlier in the year, Stig Asmussen, who directed the two existing titles, told IGN of his wish to make the series into a trilogy. He also said that the third title, when it does happen, will be built with Unreal Engine 5, instead of Unreal Engine 4 which was used for the two previous games.
