Season 6 has arrived in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone, with new operators, weapons, a subway system and more.
Like all other seasons, there is also a new Battle Pass in the game, with new tiers waiting to be unlocked by intrepid players. There's also some timed-exclusive content that only PlayStation 4 players can enjoy for a while before it is unlocked on PC and Xbox One as well.
Unless you are new to Warzone, much of this will seem routine - limited progress through the Battle Pass tiers is available to all players for free, with the more advanced goods requiring purchase. Free players can unlock the SP-R208 marksman rifle at Tier 15 and the AS-VAL assault rifle at Tier 31, as well as three new War Tracks which you can apply to your vehicles. Beyond these rewards though, you're going to have to drop the 1,000 Call of Duty Points that the Battle Pass costs.

The Battle Pass structure has worked in a way that incentivizes progress by giving owners opportunities to earn back the premium currency used to purchase it. To unlock the premium content, you need to spend 1,000 CP, however you gain the ability to earn up to 1,300 CP. Battle Pass prices have been fixed at 1,000 from the very beginning, so the idea is that you can earn the price of the next season's pass, with a bit to spare on the side.
Buying the Battle Pass comes with a few instantaneous unlocks. You'll gain access to Farah, one of the two new operators joining the fight this season, a 10% XP Boost that lasts all season, the Gilded Arm Epic Assault Rifle Blueprint as well as a skin for Minotaur and a special mission. More importantly, it unlocks all the other tiers up to the peak of 100 with a world of unlockables waiting.
