Call of Duty: Vanguard - Multiplayer Camos & Unlock Requirements

Camos have always been a significant part of the Call of Duty games and give players something to grind for. These camos provide unique visuals for your weapons and bragging rights for unlocking all the camos.

As always, there are ten categories (also called camouflage), each having ten unique camos for your weapons. Once you've unlocked all ten categories, you can progress onto the completionist camos, also known as the mastery camos. It means there are a total of 103 camos to unlock for each gun, including the mastery camos.

Also, each category unlocks at a certain weapon level. The maximum level that each weapon can reach in Vanguard is 70. We've also stated the levels at which each category unlocks.

There are different challenges you must complete to unlock these camos. Both Multiplayer and Zombies mode have their own unlock criteria.

All the camos are the same for all the weapons. So, we've chosen STG as the primary weapon for the showcase of all the camos.

The challenges for all the weapons are generally the same, except for the last three categories: Survivalist, Mindgames, and Death Artist. These three categories require specific attachments to be used to get the kills. Each weapon has its own unique set of attachments, but the general challenge is always the same across all weapons.

Here are all the multiplayer camo challenges for each weapon type which includes Assault Rifles, SMGs, Shotguns, LMGs, Marksman Rifles, and Sniper Rifles except the melee weapons and launchers.

In Pack Tactics, you need to get a certain number of kills in Multiplayer to unlock each camo.

Get 40 eliminations in multiplayer.

Get 80 eliminations in multiplayer.

Get 120 eliminations in multiplayer.

Get 160 eliminations in multiplayer.

Get 200 eliminations in multiplayer.

Get 240 eliminations in multiplayer.

Get 280 eliminations in multiplayer.

Get 320 eliminations in multiplayer.

Get 360 eliminations in multiplayer.

Get 400 eliminations in multiplayer.

In Surgical, you need to get a certain number of headshots in multiplayer to earn each camo.

In Predatory Ambition, you need to get multikills in multiplayer to unlock each camo.

In Reptilian, you need to get 5 kills without dying a certain number of times in multiplayer.

In Deadeye, you need to get a certain number of long-range kills.

In Wildcat, you need to get a certain number of eliminations with 10 attachments equipped.

Get 25 eliminations with 10 atachments equipped.

Get 50 eliminations with 10 atachments equipped.

Get 75 eliminations with 10 atachments equipped.

Get 100 eliminations with 10 atachments equipped.

Get 125 eliminations with 10 atachments equipped.

Get 150 eliminations with 10 atachments equipped.

Get 175 eliminations with 10 atachments equipped.

Get 200 eliminations with 10 atachments equipped.

Get 225 eliminations with 10 atachments equipped.

Get 250 eliminations with 10 atachments equipped.

In Survivalist, you need to get 10 ADS kills with certain attachments. You can check the attachments needed for each weapon by going into the camo selection menu. The names of the attachments will be listed under the name of the camo.

In Mindgames, you need to get a certain number of headshots with a specified list of attachments equipped.

In Death Artist, you need to get a certain number of kills while moving with a specified list of attachments equipped.

There are three completionist camos you can unlock by meeting the following requirements.

Complete all weapon camo challenges for a specific weapon.

Unlock the Gold camo for all the base guns within a weapon class.

Unlock the Diamond camo for all the weapon classes. The Atomic camo is animated and looks like Damascus from Modern Warfare (2019).

There is a separate set of challenges you can complete to unlock the camos for Launchers, and there are only five camo categories for the Launchers. There is no level requirement for the launchers. You can start doing the camo challenges for the Launchers as soon as you've unlocked the Launcher.

Melee weapons also do not have any unlock level requirements. You can directly start doing the camo challenges as soon as you unlock your melee weapon of choice.
