Things didn't go so well the last time Call of Duty went to Singapore. As part of the studio's marketing campaign for Call of Duty: Black Ops III, the official Call of Duty Twitter account launched a series of realistic-looking tweets depicting a terrorist attack in the Lion City. While the campaign went viral, it also drew the ire of many fans from around the world.

Seven years later and it appears that Activision is ready to toe the line between controversial and viral yet again.

Earlier this week, Infinity Ward took to Twitter to release the first teaser trailer for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, revealing the game's official logo and title. While neither came off as a shock, fans couldn't help but take note of a couple of peculiar things that stood out from the trailer. In particular, Tom Henderson claims to have spotted a set of coordinates that, when looked up, produces the location of a building unique to Singapore. Henderson added that he'd seen what appears to be soldiers rappelling down a tall building, which implies that this year's Call of Duty might be set in Singapore.
