Guardians have taken to the internet to voice their annoyance lately. The latest Destiny 2 update, patch 7.0.5.0, was meant to bring good news. Instead, the patch broke Destiny 2, leaving players feeling salty from the endless waves of bugs, crashes, and downtime. The biggest problem, in particular, is an ear-splitting issue because of an unexplained high-pitched sound.
Paul Tassi, a Senior Contributor at Forbes, made an extensive list of the various issues currently plaguing Destiny 2. Several others have since added to it, painting an abysmal sight for Destiny 2 and putting Bungie in a worse light.
While most are rightfully complaining, one couldn't help but take it in gest. As one Redditor humorously put it, "99 lines of bugs in the code, 99 lines of bugs. Take one down, patch it all out: 256 lines of bugs in the code." Also, it appears the bugs have had positive side effects. One Redditor shared that they got a random exotic from "just standing at the raid banner."
