Brendan Fraser was one of the most popular stars of the 1990s and early 2000s until he was blacklisted by the film industry. Now, the actor's stock is on the rise again with roles in films like the Oscar-nominated The Whale, No Sudden Moves, and, finally, the upcoming Killers of the Flower Moon that have won him plaudits from audiences and critics alike. In addition to this, Fraser also stars in the HBO Max series, Doom Patrol, which is currently in its fourth season. But, if you ask Fraser, he's more than happy to return to the film franchise that put him on the map.
Fraser recently sat down to do an interview with Deadline's Pete Hammond where he opened up about the emotional challenges he faced while filming his latest project, The Whale, and revealed his interest in reprising his role as the adventurer, Rick O'Connel, from The Mummy franchise.
Fraser stated that he doesn't have any detail about a potential sequel but wouldn't be opposed to it. He continued, "I don't know an actor that doesn't want a job. I don't think I've been this famous and unsalaried at the same time in my professional life, so sign me up."
