It seems like Wyatt, three-time WWE world champion and the victor over LA Knight in the gruelling Pitch Black match at the Royal Rumble, has been out of the limelight due to an injury. However, wrestling enthusiasts fans can rejoice, for Wyatt’s virtual persona comes alive on July 19, resurrecting his enigmatic presence in WWE 2K23.
One can’t help but be awed by the spectacle of Wyatt’s entrance. The game perfectly captures the intensity and theatrics that his fans have come to expect. As the camera zooms in on Wyatt, clad in his notorious black mask and brandishing a lamp, his entrance pays homage to his Extreme Rules return. Despite never having wrestled in an official WWE match, Uncle Howdy enters the virtual ring with a rating of 84, courtesy of The SmackDown Hotel. The question of his inclusion – whether free for all or exclusive to those who have purchased the DLC – has been left intentionally vague by 2K. Aside from WWE 2K23’s latest DLC pack, it’s an exhilarating time to be a WWE fan.
