Blizzard fans will be pleased to learn that the unannounced survival game codenamed 'Odyssey' is nearly complete.
This report comes from Windows Central's Jez Corden in a recent Xbox Two podcast episode. The insider claims "Odyssey" isn't just a codename but the title of the game. However, he's only 90% certain, so Blizzard might still change the title. Jez also mentioned that the game is almost finished and might be available on multiple platforms although he isn't ruling out the possibility that it could be an Xbox-exclusive title.
Based on the footage he watched, Jez suggested that the upcoming game will likely run smoothly on the Xbox Series S. This is because Blizzard has reportedly opted for a "stylized fairy tale kind of art" style rather than a graphically intensive realistic approach.
Earlier, Jez had disclosed some information about 'Odyssey' saying that it looks similar to Everwild. In this upcoming game, players can sell their crafted items, like Fallout 76, as well as set up potion shops that they can sell to other players. On top of this, the gameplay and visuals of 'Odyssey' bear resemblances to Fable Legends and Ark.
