It appears that the rumors about the upcoming DCEU films undergoing reshoots were true.

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson confirmed in July that he'd finished

filming his scenes for his DCEU debut as Black Adam

. Nearly a year later, The Rock is back in costume after sharing a behind-the-scenes image from Black Adam.

The most electrifying superstar in sports entertainment went on Instagram to confirm that he's doing reshoots for Black Adam.

Black Adam is a passion project for Johnson. The former WWE superstar has lobbied hard for a live-action adaptation featuring the DC Comics anti-hero made for years, but it wasn't until recently that Warner Bros. decided to give him a shot. Most likely, the studio's decision to green-light Black Adam has something to do with the success of 2019's Shazam!.

Having said that, it is interesting that Black Adam is undergoing reshoots this late into the post-production stage. However, it wouldn't surprise us if this new management wanted to add a scene or two.
