Don't celebrate just yet, but Ben Affleck is reportedly in talks with Marvel Studios for a role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

MyTimeToShineHello, a reliable Marvel insider, first broke the news of Affleck switching to the other side. Specifically, the source claims that Ben Affleck and Marvel Studios are talking about the possibility of the DCEU actor playing Dario Agger.

If true, Affleck could return to Marvel Studios albeit in an antagonistic role.

Marvel Studios has done an excellent job of bringing lesser-known heroes and villains from Marvel Comics into the spotlight, and Dario Agger could be the next one to become more mainstream. Agger is the CEO of Roxxon Energy Corporation who sold his soul to become a literal minotaur. He's commonly associated with Asgard, specifically aligning himself with Malekith and the Dark Elves as well as the Dark Council in an attempt to conquer Asgard.

It'd certainly be interesting to see Affleck go from playing the role of the DCEU's resident genius, billionaire, playboy, and philanthropist to someone who could be best friends with Lex Luthor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
