We're starting to get a better view of what Nintendo has in store for the Switch. Even if the Switch will not get the highly anticipated Breath of the Wild sequel, the console will still see a handful of new games like Bayonetta 3.

After years of waiting, Nintendo finally revealed when Bayonetta 3 will come out along with a new trailer and more details about the threequel.

The latest trailer for Bayonetta 3 sees the Umbra Bitch team up with "other" Bayonettas to go up against a giant Homunculi. Also, Bayonetta 3 will introduce a new playable character, Viola, who looks very much like a female version of Nero from the Devil May Cry franchise. Are we going to see a passing of the torch moment in Bayonetta 3? Maybe, maybe not. We will find out more as soon as Bayonetta 3 comes out on the Nintendo Switch on October 28.

PlatinumGames' action-adventure franchise might be known for its high-octane action but the highly sexualized body of the protagonist and other characters is also a staple. This isn't going away anytime soon, but Nintendo and PlatinumGames found a middle-ground for the "less mature" audiences.
