A handful of studios have released several superhero games over the years. However, Rocksteady Studios' Batman: Arkham series is the gold standard. The trilogy of games, which began with 2009's Arkham Asylum, spawned an entire universe with multiple sequels. More importantly, Arkham games left a lasting influence on future depictions of classic Batman villains like Harley Quinn and Joker, among others, as well as gaming in general.
After the series officially ended in 2015's Arkham Knight, Rocksteady compiled all three games in 2018 with the Batman Arkham Collection. Unfortunately, the bundle was not released on the Nintendo Switch. But, if a recent leak is true, this is about to change soon.
According to French retailer WTT, The Batman Arkham Collection will be released on the Nintendo Switch before August ends. However, the date could easily change anytime as retailers are known to put placeholder dates. Also, this isn't the first time that WTT "accidentally" leaked info of an upcoming Nintendo Switch port. The same site leaked the Nintendo Switch version of The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt months before it was officially announced back in 2019.
Only time will tell if WTT's most recent leak is true and when exactly The Batman Arkham Collection will come to the Nintendo Switch if it is.
