While all eyes are on Matt Reeves' The Batman, in particular, how the film is tearing up the global box office and that divisive cut footage between Robert Pattinson's Batman and Barry Keoghan's Joker, Warner Bros. is working on bringing Leslie Grace's Batgirl to the DC Extended Universe. After putting in months of hard work filming Batgirl, Leslie Grace just confirmed that production is almost ready to move on to the next step.

Grace shared the good news on her Instagram where she confirmed that DC's Batgirl is in its last week of shooting. As she shared an emotional message about her time spent with the rest of the cast and crew, Grace couldn't help but thank Scotland for welcoming the Batgirl team.

Of course, finishing principal photography and shooting doesn't mean that Batgirl will arrive soon. The next stage in the production process will likely involve reshoots as well as weeks if not months on the cutting room floor to do Barbara Gordon's arrival in the DCEU justice. The good news here is that if filming wraps up soon, directors Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah will have more than half a year to complete work on Batgirl.
