Baldur's Gate 3 will debut Sony PS5 gameplay at PAX West 2023

In addition, there will be a Mind Flayer lurking around. Although it probably won't be planning to grab visitors to undergo Ceremorphosis, it may be able to offer free swag to PAX West fans if they succeed at their dice rolls (or maybe a trivia game).

Since the debut of Baldur's Gate 3 for Early Access, players who prefer consoles instead of Windows PCs have been waiting for the chance adventure in the Forgotten Realms. Posting on the official Larian Studios forums and social media channels, the release of BG3 to stellar critical and sales success only fueled the anticipation further. For those who are attending PAX West, they may just get their first taste of Baldur's Gate 3 and what's in store for the PS5 crowd.

According to the marketing promo of PAX West 2023:

PAX West is a celebration of gaming and gaming culture featuring thought-provoking panels, a massive expo hall filled with the best publishers and studios, new game demos, musical performances, tournaments, and a community experience unlike any other.

Registration for PAX West 2023 badges is available on the official website. There are single day badges for the Friday to Monday schedule of the event for $71. There is also a badge for the entire 4-day festivities for $260. An option is also available for the BYOC (bring your own computer) area dedicated to the streamer community for $55.25, but this does not include physical entry into the PAX West Expo Hall and booths.

Fans heading into PAX West 2023 for the Larian Studios/Baldur's Gate 3 booth should head to Booth 2305. PAX West 2023 will be held in the Seattle Convention Center of Seattle, WA and run from September 1 through September 4.
