Baldur's Gate 3 Hotfix 22 Fixes Minthara’s Dialogue Issues and Adds Previous Updates for Xbox Consoles

And Xbox BG3 players who have felt left out from the previous updates can rejoice. Hotfix #22 brings Xbox versions up to speed with previously released patches on PS5 and PC, including Hotfixes 20 and 21, which tackle cross-save issues and other lingering problems from Patch #6.

Additionally, UI adjustments have been made to prevent voice chat from overlapping the minimap on split-screen mode, and pop-up notifications now function as intended, even during specific in-game actions.

Some of the highlights of BG3's Hotfix #22 include: Crashes and Blockers Fixes for crashes related to character conditions and internal crashes when suspending the game being played on an Xbox which caused the game to reboot. UI Enhancements Improved syncing and cross-saving messaging. Prevention of voice chat overlapping the minimap on split-screen. Corrected functionality of pop-up notifications not triggering, particularly the 'Another Player is Joining' message when a host has an open panel on Xbox. Scripting Fixes Addressed unintentional legacy dialogue flows. Specifically, this resolves incidents where Minthara ends the relationship with Dark Urge players that rejected Bhaal. Improved companion behavior and relationship dynamics, such as dialogues suddenly ending when kissing romantic companions. Even after multiple patches, Minthara continued to have interaction issues, particularly with Gale. But Hotfix #22 finally resolves this, as well as other unintended legacy dialogue.
