Baldur’s Gate 3 fans can now download Hotfix #19, the latest update rolled out by developer Larian Studios. This, much like the recent Hotfix #18, is aimed at resolving persistent issues that emerged following the release of Patch #6.
While Patch 6 for BG3 brought numerous improvements to the game, it also introduced new errors, prompting the swift response from Larian Studios to address and rectify these issues through Hotfix #18. However, that was only to address the serious game-crashing issues, leaving many other kinks to be hammered out – enter Hotfix #19.
PC users immediately have access to the release of Hotfix #19, with PlayStation and Xbox support arriving soon after. Unfortunately, macOS users, as mentioned in a prior update, will have to wait a little longer.

Larian Studios characterizes this new hotfix as focusing on “resolving some further bugs, glitches, and crashes.” Notably, improvements related to the different modes of the officially licensed D&D computer roleplaying game (CRPG) such as the Tactician Mode, character dialogues, Honour Mode, and specific enhancements for the Xbox version have been incorporated into this update.

To provide players with a comprehensive overview of the adjustments made in this new update, the patch notes for Baldur’s Gate 3 Hotfix #19 are detailed below – thankfully, Larian is well aware that the real reason everyone plays this game is for the hot kissing action:

Additionally, Hotfix 19 features Xbox-specific multiplayer fixes, tackling problems related to controller assignments and invites not functioning correctly. The full patch notes from this update can be found at the official website.
Larian Studios emphasized its commitment to ongoing improvements, stating that it is “actively working on further fixes that cover several community-submitted issues with Patch 6.” This assurance suggests that players can anticipate more bug-fixing updates in the near future.
It helps that Larian Studios is open to feedback through the official BG3 website and forums too, which plays a crucial role in enhancing the overall gaming experience.
