Avengers: Secret Wars will have an Endgame-style plot

There are also reports that Robert Downey Jr.could be returning as Tony Stark aka Iron Man in the upcoming movie. Previous rumors suggest that the actor will be making a comeback as the new AI for Riri William's Ironheart suit. The rumors also point to a possible return for Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire in Avengers 6. The appearance of the duo alongside Tom Holland in Spider-Man: No Way Home sent fans into a frenzy.

There are speculations that Marvel Studios is trying "to get as many heavy hitters as they can" for the upcoming Avengers movie. According to the rumors, Kevin Feige wants to recreate the portals scene from Avengers: Endgame and feature almost every known Marvel character from the past to the present.

If the rumors are true then it would make for one epic movie, and, Michael Waldron, the screenwriter for Secret Wars, will have the unenviable task of making a colossal movie that will attempt to outdo Avenger: Endgame in terms of scale.
